Before you begin your research, please read through the TJSHS Rules of Competition thoroughly.
In this manual you will find information on abstract preparation, paper formatting and preparation, eligibility rules, rules on conducting research, the judging process, and suggestions for preparing your oral or poster presentation.
The TJSHS judges participants on their abstract, written research paper, and oral or poster presentation.
Students who submit the best research papers and abstracts (as determined by a judging panel of UT faculty researchers) are then invited to present their research in a public forum. Selected students will be contacted with an invitation to present their work through either an oral presentation or poster presentation at the TJSHS. Students chosen to present their work at the symposium must adhere to the guidelines listed above in order to be considered for awards.
